 All Was Well
Title: All Was Well Author: michelle_31a Rating: G Other Pairings: n/a Summary: I think we all agree the "Epilogue" at the end of DH was not altogether a brilliant ending to the HP saga. Here's my own (rather shorter) version, set only a few months after the events of the book, rather than 19 years after the fact... Warnings: n/a

LoL, thanks! I think it's the first Lunafic I've written in which Luna has no lines!
But I think that had JKR ended the series with something along these lines, it wouldn't have generated anywhere near the controversy the"Crapilogue" has...

I liked it! It was better than JKR's epilogue. It was happy, but not vomit-inducing. This is more realistic.
Oh, and I caught a typo!
We should be he.
*hugs*

Ack! My bad -- I'll correct when I get home tonight.
I guess that's why one shouldn't entirely rely on spellchecker...

I loved this! Much better than the epilogue and so completely sweet. Though not tooth-ache inducing This was actually much happier than the book's epilogue. *hugs*

Awesome work as always Michelle! See I like this type of ending, it isn't sugar-high, in-your-face-CANON!ending, its an open ending, leaving it to us, the fans to guess what happens.
Wonderful!!! (damn I wish this was the ending).

I really thought that JKR would end the series with an open-ended finale, thereby giving her fandom one last parting gift -- the potential for many wonderful fanfics in the future.
No matter though...in my HPverse, the "official" epilogue simply doesn't exist. It takes place in the future in an alternate universe...Jo simply got her worlds mixed up

It was so sweet and cute! Yeah, and how hard can holding up 5 people be after defeating Voldemort five times?
