Violators WILL BE banned without warning or notice. We are working on warning system and what is forgiveable and what is worthy of immediate banning. Be patient with us. We want to get this forum as soon as possible.

About Ginny-related topics:

Ginny discussion is RESTRICTED on the Loony Lions Board. We understand that she is a part of the Potterverse, and as such, we will not outright ban Ginny discussion on LL. HOWEVER, discussion about Ginny is to be regulated as follows: Her charcter is allowed in the Gryffindor House folder. Any other Ginny ships may be discussed and debated in Batltleship.

The focus of this forum is H/L. We do not want the focus to become anti-Ginny or anti-H/G, as we do have members who are Ginny and H/G fans. Please keep the appropriate discussions to the appropriate threads.

A special message for Non-H/L lurkers/guests:
Dissenting opinions are allowed at Loony Lions. However, unsubstantiated insults toward the H/L ship and/or Shippers is not. The LL Board is NOT a general, public forum. It is a virtual meeting place for H/L Shippers. If you approach posting with an attitude of civility and a genuine desire to understand a differing viewpoint, or to make one understood, then: welcome. If you come charging in here to start a shipper war or just generally be a snide, rude, insulting, disagreeable shithead: you are not welcome. Just so that's clear up-front. And please be advised that you may not be welcomed with open arms. Many posters' negative experiences on other boards and with those from other 'ships have made it very difficult to be open to other viewpoints. Our first priority on the H/L Board is the feelings of H/L shippers. There will be favoritism shown toward them.

General Rules for Everyone:
1.) Please keep in mind that this is first and foremost a "HAVEN FOR H/L SHIPPERS". You don't *have* to be a Shipper, but I expect H/L Positive attitudes, even if you are expressing a differing opinion. If we wanted our Ship (or ourselves, as shippers) dismissed, insulted, belittled, and/or made fun of, etc., we have plenty of boards to turn to for that. If you come charging in here ranting and raving about how much H/L sucks, you will be deleted and banned.

If you are seeking more general discussion, free of ship and character bias (either pro or anti... as much as is humanly possible, anyway), please try the Character Boards. We're trying to see if the fandom can find some peace.

2.) NO FLAMING. I will define what *I* mean by flaming - when you argue against someone's point of view by making comments about the POSTER, or gross generalizations about shippers, rather than the OPINION itself. This will NOT be tolerated. If you disagree, please present reasons WHY you disagree, and not reasons why you think the poster is blind, stupid, on drugs, insane, slow, young, old, too tall, too fat, suffering from PMS, misguided, possessed, a bad dresser, just plain WRONG, etc. Keep your commentary to the person's POINTS, the FACTS AT HAND, and THE ARGUMENT ITSELF!

3.) NO SPAM. No pimping of other boards unless approved by either myself or the other moderators. No posting medication adds or what-have-you. If we wanted adds, we'd be watching television now, wouldn't we? Also, don't keep starting topics if there is already a board with the same topic. It uses up space.

4.) NO tYpInG lyKe Dis! No netspeak or l33t here. The occasional w00t is acceptable as well as the occasional lol. But seriously, it's not that hard to capitalize words and form complete sentences. Reading the trash that is netspeak and l33t is murder on the eyes and hard to understand for some people.

5.) RESPECT MYSELF, OTHER ADMINISTRATORS AND MY FELLOW MODERATORS. We're here for you. We're here to keep this board running so fans of H/L can relax, discuss H/L with fellow shippers and the like. We're not here to deal with bitching over nothing or spam or stupid people in general.

However, if you feel that you are flamed, disrespected or are having issues with another member that you need assistance resolving, feel free to contact the admins or mods. We will be happy to help. We all want this to be a free, safe and fun place to meet and discuss.
